Great buffet breakfast and nice restaurant. The beach is just across the street and so easy to get to. Great place to stay if you want to surf. The small town of Peniche is a nice little town to visit. The museum at the fortress is very informative about the Carnation Revolution.

Everything is as shown in photos. It was a good option for a short stay for someone who is coming by car. We arrived early and we got the room immediately without asking. Breakfast is simple but what is served is good there is a coffee machine with quality espresso. While the hotel is close to the water, it is the cliffs and the sandy beach is 5 min away by car which is not bad.

Service was second to none. Staff are very friendly. For my 61st birthday they made a nice cake with candles and gifted a bottle of presecco. Samuel at the bar was tip top. We will be back again.

I had a great time. The hostel is lovely - decorated, clean, tidy and well organised. There were not too many people there and so it was very relaxed. The dorns are a bit away from the common area meaning that the evening fun does not wake up the sleepers. Being well organised meant that it was easier for people to keep it tidy and clean. The dorms were cosy and clean, including the bathroom. The top beds didnt have a curtain but the lovely staff were very acommodating and provided us wuth a towel as a solution. The beds were squeeking only a little. I paid 15e (wuth a doscount from booking), but I would be willing to pay mote for this quality. My only suggestion would be some more hooks in the bathroom to hang stuff. Otherwise, 10/10 - I felt more comfortable than in many single rooms.
At first sight i couldn’t see the beauty of Peniche.
At first sight i couldn’t see the beauty of Peniche. But once I settled in and explored the beach and surrounding area it became clear it’s a beautiful place.
The beach is stunning, you have the choice of mingling with the locals or having so much space to chill.
The beach cafes were excellent and so well priced.
With so many restaurants to chose from, the seafood is delicious and again well priced. Simple food but made very well.
The Portuguese people are very welcoming and friendly.
A place I will visit again.

Friendly people lots to do but not marked on google maps so you have to explore alot of it yourself. The chapels are well worth a visit especially one of them that's at the far left of the peninsula. A monk was found in a cave there and they built a stunning chapel for him.

Peniche is a nice sea site town to visit. You can get fresh fish out of the fishermanˆs truck. We had a wonderful octopus in a restaurant by the Forte da Praia da Consolacao. Next time we will stay longer.

Some gorgeous beaches in Peniche and the surrounding area. We took some surf lessons which was great fun and the location for them is perfect. It's not a very bustling area, so if you're after a lot of atmosphere might not be the place for you.

Peniche is the right choice, if you appreciate closeness to the nature, ocean views, roar of the Atlantic, trekking along the coastal paths and don't mind an occasional shower of rain. It is also close to Lissabon, with a working bus connection. Small calm town, perfect hideaway for a peaceful break and a relaxing holiday.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The manager (Luis) upgraded us to a nicer room on the 3rd floor with a great view. The room was spacious. We paid extra for breakfast, which was well worth the price.
The hotel is a good size outdoor swimming pool and also an indoor sauna and Jacuzzi.
The hotel is closer to the beach (less than 10 minutes walk) and about 25 minutes to the Center Peniche.
Overall a great experience.

Very charming older property, but beautifully maintained. Rooms (2) were very quiet and extremely comfortable (beds too). The included breakfast was excellent. For the price, this was the best property value we stayed at while visiting Portugal. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Just a short 10 minute walk to two supermarkets (Aldi and Lidl).
Great facilities.
Very good offer on things to do at the hotel. For instance, great play room, very nice sauna, Turkish bath, gym, leisure room, working room, very nice activity spaces outside such as jumping bed, climbing wall, jacuzzi and swimming pool.
Having a restaurant at the hotel facilitates a lot!
Room was spacious and comfortable.
The cleanest accommodation i stayed in in years, the ladies there changes towels daily. The location is perfect, close to everything, nice breakfast and good coffee the people in reception always friendly and helpful .If i come back to Peniche will chose them again without a second thought!
So many facilities, it's hard to take advantage of them all when the beautiful Peniche competes for attention. The breakfast was high quality and the dinners were pretty good. Gym equipment was in good shape. Very comfortable rooms.
Beautiful apartment in the heart of Peniche. Everything worked well and our family of 6 was comfortable. We could walk to restaurants and to the ocean. We watched out our windows as a parade went by.
Portugals greatest surf hostel
Louis (or Luis) is the greatest hostel host you can imagine. This hostel is at least worth visiting for a meeting with him and his wife.
Nice surfspots included.
