It met what I wanted but was tired and in need to some decent improvement but had the facilities I needed and the staff were helpful. The iaron was not turned on as I later learned and it was cold in the room the first 2 days. When i inquired i learned i needed to tuen it on. I did so and it was noisy so I turned it off. Staff brought a small oil heater for the last night which improved the temperature. There was a lot of outside noise at night machine groaning that did not help sleep. But the bed was very comfortable but could have done with a blanket or duvet instead of a thin cover and an old single blanket in the cupboard

Auckland is a real cultural mix with strong Asian, European, Maori and Polynesian influences, celebrated in frequent festivals and sporting events. We were here as a family.
We were here as a family. It is perhaps not the most family friendly place right in the city so we drove out to other places outside of the city everyday.
There were lots of car parks doing cheap "early bird" car parks so parking is good value for a capital city making driving more affordable. Parking on the road costs alot more though.
The food options are good. From food courts to K Road, the Sky Tower and more fine dining. There is a new food court and new shopping lanes in the old shopping mall on the end of queens Street near britomart that was quite cool and the shopping options and quality has greatly increased since last time I was in Auckland.
There are a number of options for work out classes and gyms including hot yoga and hiit plates.
We found that there was a general calm about the place compared to many capital cities and although it rained alot we found that the sun returned quite quickly.
There are lots of pay to ride scooters dotted around good for saving the children's legs. It cost around ten dollars to get from 2/3 way down queen street to the bottom near the harbour.
There is an arcade and cinema halfway down queen street, the arcade was very reasonably priced and you top up a card which you can use over different occasions if you want to.
The sky tower was a nice evening with a great view of sunset and the city.
People are very friendly and chill here.
There is good access to soo many beaches and the many other tourists sports like the mineral baths, glow worms, lake taupo, the many many beaches and bays, a butterfly park and rainbows end also within easy driving distance and lots of malls just off motorway 1 both North and south in direction.

This was our first time in Auckland and just wanted to get to know the city a little better. The Sky Tower is a must see and will give you a great sense of where everything is. We enjoyed some cocktails and food at the restaurant late in the afternoon and watched the sun go down. I was quite surprised at the number of historical and cultural activities available and wish we could have spent more time. If you get out of town you can discover a lot of beautiful parks and monuments

I lived in Auckland previously for about 10 years.
I lived in Auckland previously for about 10 years. So I know the city well. Traffic in this city is terrible, so you might want to avoid leaving your accommodation early in the morning or driving around from 3pm to 6pm on weekdays. It is a very convenient place for shopping, but it is not safe in some parts. t is best to avoid staying in the western and southern parts of Auckland if possible.

The cheapest thing in NZ would be your accommodations so stay at a nice place: whether in the city or the suburbs.. stay at a nice place..
Uber is pretty cheap to get around for a couple.. Food and drinks are pretty expensive everywhere in NZ..
Reasonably cheap and comfy for a place in Auckland's CBD. I wouldn't underestimate this place as an option for Auckland accommodation, especially if you're on a tight budget but want to experience the sights of Central Auckland. Nice, quaint and private rooms with well-furnished and clean en suites. Beds are comfortable and usual hotel amenities are well catered for. Check-in and check-out self service is available which I thought was quite neat.
Dispite a few nitpicks I was pleased with my visit.
Situated in Auckland CBD next to Sky Tower this hotel is as central as it gets. Transport from/to airport is easy with Uber. I reccon the hotel was built in the eighties and got a charm from that period. By that time this 14 story building must have been one of the highest in the neighborhood. The full English breakfast is well done. The rooms are tidy and well looked after. They leave messages if they cant tidy for instance the bed of some reason. Good!
I did like the parking. There seemed to be a reasonable driveway to drive down and plenty of room to turn your car around etc. I liked how it was situated somewhat near the airport so was able to get the shuttle to the airport easily as it came and stopped at the hotel reception at certain times that u can find on their website and when you are booking the room. The room was pretty spacious for auckland and probably reflects the price well.
The unit was on level 14, had an outstanding view. Two bedrooms. There was a balcony to one bedroom and another balcony from the lounge area and also another enclosed balcony from the lounge area which had an out door table & 4 chairs. Underground secure car parking with lift access. Very close and easy walking to the Manukau Shopping Complex. Really easy to get to the Auckland Airport by car. We would certainly stay here again. Thank you.
Excellent rooms with comfortable beds, pillows, superb towels and toiletries that compete with top hotel brands. And the room was so, so, so clean and well fitted out with everything you need. We’re now staying at the sister property at Hamilton Airport and it’s just as good. Kudos to the Jet Park Auckland’s night manager who sent a shuttle bus to collect us at 3am and produced orange juice to quench my husband’s thirst.
I love this hotel, it is modern and funky, very comfortable rooms, we had a large twin with 2 x double beds with a great view over Auckland Harbour. The bathroom facilities caters for all your needs, tooth brushes, toothpaste, razors, vanity sets etc.
Valet parking is a bonus and well priced at $45 per night.
Location is perfect for shopping, trains, buses and bars/restaurants are abundant.
The hotel was very nice and the restaurant buffet was excellent. If you stay do plan to eat at the hotel because there are no other options within reasonable walking distance. If you have an early flight out of Auckland you cannot beat the location. Out the front door, take a left, cross the street and you're in the airport check-in area. No shuttle needed.
The hot options for breakfast were a highly welcome additional bonus. Large helpings of scrambled egg and sausages will keep you filled for far longer than continental style cold food. Rooms were huge with plenty of features including a mini kitchen. Elevators were plentiful and fast. Hotel is close to many important Auckland CBD sights.
The hotel is well-located near Auckland's city centre, viaduct and universities.
The room was spacious with a large bed, big self-service kitchen and a balcony with good view.
I particularly liked the washing/dryer combination in the unit.
Staff was very helpful when there was a problem with the automatic credit card payment.
The property contains a full kitchen and is located within walking distance of many Auckland sights. Parking is available in a nearby car park and the hotel can provide an access card for an additional cost. There are several great food options within walking distance.
What's not to like? Great view, free parking, convenient quiet location, clean spacious rooms, friendly staff and all for a much better price than other hotels in the Auckland cbd. Oh and the restaurant has a good selection of meals at reasonable prices.
The hotel has a good car parkinf, and it isn't too far from Auckland airport. The bed was comfortable, and the room size was good. The hotel is new so everything was in good condition. The breakfast was very adequate with enough choices.
Great breakfast and nice to have airport shuttle. Take the shuttle to the airport and catch the bus to the train to go to Auckland CBD. The gym was small but nice and sign says a new gym/pool are coming soon.
Stayed for one night, parked in attached garage and left early in am for the airport. Pool was nice and empty when we had a swim, location was an easy walk from the rest of Auckland CBD so easy to get around.
Cheap and cheerful airport hotel with convenient, free, hourly shuttle service to and from the airport. Big room with a comfortable bed and really quiet and peaceful, despite being so close to s major road.
Good range of facilities, not too far from the airport - which was useful for us to catch an international flight in the morning and only averagely expensive compared to other Auckland hotels.
