Charming old-style hotel in a narrow street in the medieval town - with a rooftop lounge overlooking the bay and other rooftops, and a breakfast patio with sea view and a naughty population of pigeons that stalk the breakfast buffet. The food is covered - no worries - but not a place for those with bird phobia. Cappuccino served in old ceramic cups.
The decor is truly charming with delicate painting on furniture - beds, cupboards etc. your guest bathroom has piping hot water and a shower cabinet plus a bidet, loo and single vanity.
But the biggest old fashioned hitch is no lift - we had many stairs to climb. We.parked the car in the port snd they fetched us with a buggy - thank goodness - plus helped us carry the luggage up all those stairs. Two flights of steep stairs.
The hotel is close to everything on that island packed with treasures - including exquisite churches - I went into 3 of them. Also truly marvellous choice of restaurants and the nearby coffee bar Martinucchi.
The hotel breakfast included yoghurt, cereals, pastries, fruit 🍎 - as well as the essential cappuccinos.

Nice compact town with lots of history and great sea views.
Nice compact town with lots of history and great sea views. Working harbour with a variety of boats and yachts in moorings.
Has been taken over a bit too much by continuous seaside souvenir shops making it a bit tacky in places. Plenty of decent restaurants with an abundance of seafood.

A lively and picturesque old town with an excellent offer.
A lively and picturesque old town with an excellent offer. The pulse of the city can only be felt if you stay in the old town on the island. You can be prepared for remote parking, impossible staircases in buildings... but everything you need on vacation is within walking distance.

We liked town and surrounding.
We liked town and surrounding. Beautiful fish restaurants everywhere. Since we rented the car had the options to explore the other towns nearby. Galippoli was our base and from then we visited historical small town Nardo. The very good option to start your trip in Apulia😊

Gallipoli is a fantastic small town. the old town is separated from the other part of the town by a bridge .Located on top of a rock the old town with the small castle make a very picturesque place where to take pictures from any corners. surrounded by turquoise colour water. In October the water's temperature is still warm for you to enjoy as well as to get a suntan. Lots of restaurants one better than another , offering fantastic panoramic view when sitting outside . The best way to get around gallipoli is on foot , cycling or a moped . In my opinion the best time to visit Gallipoli and surrounding is September ,october ,June and July . particularly good is October ,still warm ,good weather but very peaceful .

Everything was perfect, right from the initial contact with Vito. The room was fresh, clean and beautifully styled. Loved the terrace where breakfast was served and of course Christina was very special and a wonderful hostess who went that extra mile to look after us.
Truly fantastic experience. Mario welcomed us with coffees, parked our car, and showed us to our beautiful room. So helpful on restaurant recommendations and local sightseeing. Location perfect with 5 minute walk to a beach and the historic centre . Delicious breakfast in a lovely little courtyard. Would love to stay here again . Better than any 5 star hotel. Don't hesitate to book this accommodation if there are rooms available. Absolutely 10 out 10 and more.Thank you so much for everything Mario.
Great service at breakfast, very friendly, though the variety could be improved: the breakfast is typical Italian, there was no such as thing as bacon and eggs and baked beans. Big bathrooms with various toiletries is a plus. Central location allows one to walk to the old city (10 min) to eat out in restaurants. This town was chosen only as base for getting to beaches quickly, otherwise there's nothing much to see or do in Gallipoli, hence our stay was 7 nights out of total 22 in Puglia.
Located at the edge of the historical old part of Gallipoli near the port and its public parking. An unobstructed view of The Ionian Sea right from the room's window made my stay extraordinary - especially the magnificent sunset was unspeakable. The room I stayed in was small but fine for solo travellers or couples. The air conditioner, wifi and refrigerator all functioned well. La Riviera served a simple breakfast in a friendly atmosphere.
Giorgio- what can I say? What a host! If only all B&B hosts were this great! Made my stay in Gallipoli the best! Went out of his way to pick me up from the train station and assist in so many ways. So appreciated:) Also the apartment is super cute, well appointed, good location and very large, quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay very much! Breakfast on the terrace lovely as well! Highly recommend!
We had booked and paid for this stay for three nights. Unfortunately it was non refundable. We left after 2 hours and found another hotel 20 minutes away that was amazing in every way and cheaper! The best thing I did on our vacation to Italy was walk away from this hotel and lost over $1,500 dollars. The only positives were that it had excellent air conditioning, comfortable beds and ok wifi.
Clean large room, very nice home made breakfast with lots of variety and coffee.
Very nice venue, I guess you can have a blast of a weddingparty here 😀
Staff was welcoming and friendly.
We also had dinner one time, was also great!
We would surely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
Gallipoli is also a very nice place to stay, central to explore the south of Puglia.
The hotel has eclectic taste and interesting decoration - definitely stands out from the rest of Puglia hotels. Location was superb - 5 minutes to the beach and very close to everything in historical town.
The room was big and bed was really comfortable.
Breakfast was nice, the rooftop bar is good and service were friendly.
Super big and comfy, the equipment was genius, the owner was very flexible, carrying and helpful person! The location was perfect for a daily walk in the old town of gallipoli. The AC was working nicely! The breakfast was nicely prepared in advance for us.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and there were a few supermarkets, pubs and restaurants in 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. The room was really spacious with a nice balcony. The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous as well.
The property was equipped with everything you need. An air conditioning unit, a drying rack on the terrace and very modern bathrooms. The location was close to the bus station and walkable to downtown Gallipoli (~20 mins).
Very friendly small boutique hotel great location for exploring Gallipoli.Reception staff were excellent and most helpful with any enquiries we had.Would definitely recommend.
The hotel is really nicely done. The location is close to the center (Gallipoli) and to the sea. The food was amazing and the staff as well. We would definitely go again.
The hotel is amazing, it's furniture is old fashion but perfect, I really recommend it. The breakfast is very good and the staff was so kind. You will feel the king.
