The location is perfect: Asti is a beautiful and exciting town but since Hotel Cavour is located next to the train station, it can also be the perfect base for exploring the region. The Hotel itself is really pleasant and cosy - of course, no luxury but I have seen four-star hotels in worse condition. My room was comfortable and clean, and the reasonable price included a breakfast also. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The property was good in Asti location near the food excess ,far from Milan. People and staff were lovely and friendly. We hired a car to reach there. The property is good unfortunately the room was not clean, I struggled with asthma. We were there with 2 special needs kids. In new country we were not able to move to new place now and then.we had to changed the plans. Left the property in 2 days.Still waiting for refund.

A very friendly town with good restaurants and good quality shops. If you are self catering there is a fabulous supermarket in the centre of town, wine shops with wine tasting, deli's and cheese shops. We had only a few days there but we will return. We ate in the square where all the restaurants were good, they were full so best to book early.

Asti is an historic town in the heart of the famous Piedmonte wine region and is readily accessible to the surrounding area of vineyards, wineries, great wine tasting, castles, hilltop towns like La Morra and, Barola, Roman ruins, and amazing countryside. The Etruscans were here before the Romans and the area has so much history. Asti, Like Sienna has its Contradas and has the race in the Fall while Sienna has it in July. We were lucky enough to see the Contrada parade and flag throwing practice in the Plazza in preparation for the event.

I stayed one night on a journey through Europe.
I stayed one night on a journey through Europe. I'd expected somewhere basic - but this place was Fawlty Towers made flesh. There was no heating in the room, at a time of year when the outside temperature was -5'c. The corridors & stairwells were pitch-black, as the sensors for the lights were ineffective, so I navigated my way around using the torch from my phone. When I went down to reception in the morning, the whole area was full of piles of broken glass, shards of crockery & the smashed remains of a grandfather clock - I've no idea why (break-in? fight between guests?). None of the staff who were present in the morning could speak any English. Breakfast was a microwaved croissant & slice of cake, a glass of juice & a cup of instant coffee.

The apartment was located right next to an all you can eat sushi restaurant. It was Fantastic! I spent the day walking the streets and enjoying coffee, sandwiches and pizza as well as checking out the local architecture. The town itself is very cute and a wonderful piece of Italy!
The property host, Silvia, was extremely helpful. I missed the first night of my two-night reservation because my flight from the US was cancelled and rebooked. I let Silvia know that I would be very late, but when I showed up at 11pm, she was there! She also provided excellent advice on what to see in Asti, how to best enjoy the wine festival, and where to park the rental car (not so easy during the festival). The apartment is beautiful, with all the amenities, and the location is outstanding, in the center of the historic district.

Located right outside the main streets, but easy to find. Paola and her sister greeted us and showed us around the apartment. They are very nice and friendly. We choose this particulars property because listed a private parking place which is very safe, a bit small for our family car, but helped us a great deal . The bikes we brought had to be unloaded from the racks but fitted on the side of the car.
The staff are polite, really know their city and made us very welcome. The breakfast is excellent, the rooms pristine and comfortable beds. Reception’s recommendation for a nearby restaurant gave us our best meal ever in Asti (at least six visits). A perfect fruit selection and present of a bottle of Barbera all made for a memorable stay. We hope to return in November
We had the breakfast and dinner both days and both are great fresh baked and tasty. Bring your appetite for dinner. More than generous. This visit is a great value. The bonus is you feel so welcomed and they all are so very friendly.
What’s not great about staying in the middle of the vineyard.
Convenient to Asti and surrounding area. Clean and comfortable. Large room. Has lots of room for me to store my bike (this was a cycling trip). The staff were very friendly and helped my by speaking good English. They were patient with my lack of Italian! Good value for the money.
Surprisingly good breakfast, wide variety of cheese and meats comparing to some other hotels, very friendly staff, clean and renewed room and facilities, a bottle of complimentary wine plus some fruit even for one night stay! Quiet location, comfy bed, had a good sleep.
The breakfast was a very good assortment of pastries, breads, cakes, cereals and yogurts. Eggs could have been prepared by our host.
The bed was very comfortable and the house very well kept.
Museum deco was fun! Close proximity to Asti and parking a plus.
Beautiful place with two of the most welcoming, warm, kind-hearted hosts one could ask for. Will always remember my stay in Cascina Rossa and would definitely love to visit again. The husband even helped me fixed my bike! Thank you both of you!!
It was lovely staying in this authentic old villa
There was excellent off street parking and gardens to walk around. It was a ten minute walk to the centre of Asti. The breakfast was delicious and the host was very helpful and friendly.
Everything was perfect, Elena has been very clear, reactive and nice in every way. We found everything as it's described in the summary.
The room is located in the center of Asti, perfect to reach all interesting points.
Location was very convenient to tour the Asti historical center.
The terrazza was great for morning cafe and after dinner drinks.
