This property deserves top marks when it comes to staff. All of them are very well trained, everyone is kind. That is the biggest advantage to choose this hotel. In addition to such friendly staff, you can sometimes forget about certain shortcomings. The food is varied and delicious.

The apartment was spacious, with a large balcony to relax on and a clean, sparkling shared swimming pool. Each room had its own ensuite. The sea view and sunsets were stunning from the balcony. There weren't many people staying at the apartments and there was plenty of parking available. The host was friendly and attentive.

A really lovely area, very safe with lots of tourists around. It's expensive and the cars are loud, most play loud music as they drive around.
The beach is wonderful and what you expect from a white sand beach in Mauritius. The sea is very clean, safe and warm.
Plenty of places to eat and drink without feeling too busy.

Flic and Flac has a great beach and lots of good restaurants...
Flic and Flac has a great beach and lots of good restaurants. It is very lively, particularly on a Saturday and Sunday. The restaurants that we enjoyed were Chutneys, Sunset Garden, Mosaic and a Thai restaurant that was a little further out in Tamarin called Ousaporn. Lovely garden settings in both Sunset Gardens and Ousaporn.
I recommend hiring a car. The Black River Gorge is stunning. The views of the gorge, waterfalls and to the bays are outstanding.

Being on the west coast of the island means that it isn't as...
Being on the west coast of the island means that it isn't as windy as the east coast or as wet i.e. rainy. The beach is sheltered by a coral reef; as are many of the beaches on Mauritius but there are also resident pods of bottlenose and spinner dolphins off of the west coast of the island.
The boat trips to swim with dolphins and also visit the island on the SW coast of Mauritius go from Flic-en-Flac beach so cost a lot less than from other parts of the island - worth visiting more than one tour operator to get the best price.
Flic-en-Flac is not too far from the airport and being about half way up it is easy to get to most parts of the island in a day to see things.
Lots of restaurants to choose from too.

flic en flac is the best place to stay in Mauritius
flic en flac is the best place to stay in Mauritius
the weather is always good even when the rest of the island is experiencing bad weather
even when there was a cyclone, we experienced it for 3 hours while the rest of the island experienced it for a day
The host and the workers were very polite and respectable. Always was available for any help or queries that we had. They made us feel very welcomed at the villa and kept the place looking spotless. I would definitely recommend it, and if I go back to Mauritius, I will definitely be staying there again.
FAO - Selvanie: Thank you so much for your excellent hospitality. You really made the process so seemless and gave us fewer things to worry about. You are a STAR!!
It is an amazing place with two stories and four bedrooms. The swimming pool is huge. There is a guard and a cleaner of the swimming pool. The beach is very close and the supermarket is big and also close ( you can walk 10-15. min. but we always took a car). The owner is super friendly. He made sure we got evrything we asked for extra. He was also sending us material on what to see in Mauritius even after we already moved to another location. Compliments.
We stayed for a week in Mauritius, and chose Flic en Flac as our accommodation location. The staff were very professional, helpful and friendly - thank you for welcoming us, and making our stay so enjoyable. The bar and restaurant were also great! We were able to do a lot of the activities on the West Coast from Seastar (7 Coloured Sands, Chamarel Rum Distillery, Le Morne hike, Tamarind Falls hike, snorkeling in Grand Baie).
The staff is wonderful and they are very helpful. It was very clean all around the hotel and it was in close proximity to everything (i.e. 1 minute walking to a supermarket that has everything, 2 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to restaurants). There is a private little parking area and I always found parking there when coming back each night so it was super convenient.
The host was extremely helpfull and instantly reactive to any questions we had. She even helped us find a car seat via facebook marketplace and put me in contact with seller directly.
I have vacationed in Mauritius many times and never had such high standards from an apartment stay.
The place is clean and not a single creepy crawly in sight.
100% recommend!
Very friendly host, helpful and kind.
Our apartment was spacious with good WiFi.
Nice parking area which felt safe and nice pool.
Good kitchen set up with gas rings. Provide a good range of tools.
Spacious and easy accessible to everything in flic en flac.
Value for money - if you need reasonable self catered accomodation on a budget this is good.
The room was spacious the view beautiful and the evenings where buzzing with local night life and restaurants. A real feel of Mauritius. Close to shops and bus stops. Amazing sunsets! Would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to spend an arm and leg. Make sure you book a room with a view! Well worth the stay. Thank you Anita
Brand new place, and very clean. It has everthing we needed. Tv has netflix and other apps. Owner is very kind person. We stayed in another apartment before here on our Mauritius trip that we regret. Because you need a car if you are staying here. If you have car everywhere is in driving distance from this house (max 1 hour)
Location was great with the ocean at the end of the garden.
The owner was very helpful especially during the cyclone. She provided advice and told us what tomwatch out for.
Overall Nesha helped make our stay on Mauritius an excellent experience. The pool is a good size and was very welcome in the 30-33C temperatures.
It was a lovely 4 days trip in this place.
The room is clean and have all the facilities you need. The location is great, few minutes walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The hosts are super nice and very helpful.
I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I come back to Mauritius.
Whole building is renovated and feels like new. It is very close to the beach Flic en Flac and there is a lot of free parking places behind the building. Very safe and quiet area. Cécile was always helpful and very friendly. Swimming pool was always open and it was good for relaxing with kids.
it’s like a small piece of heaven - view to the swimming pool and the ocean, possibility to watch sunsets every day, beautiful trees on the territory, access to the beach. I liked especially that you have to walk a bit to the beach where you can swim - less people around the hotel
Only a 3 minute walk to the beach, amazing location
Close only a 10 min walk to the big supermarket, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby
Mitra was incredibly lovely and gave lots of recommendations for things to do in Mauritius, with getting discounts for various tours!
The place is ideal, walking distance from restaurants and the beach while being quiet at night for a good sleep. The host is wonderful and always make sure that your stay is going well. This is a gem! We will definitely be back.
The propert was very clean and everything was good including the staff and 24 hour concierge service. The private beach within 1 minute walk was beautiful and a perfect location for a holiday in Mauritius.
The location in Flic-en-flac is great. You'll probably want a car to explore the wider area but Flic-en-flac itself has nice beaches and some good street food and restaurant options.
My stay at the hotel was really nice. The host and the staff were extremely helpful. Extreme cleanliness everywhere. The buffet breakfast too was really good.
